10.05.D
XT33 Series DISK RECORDER – Version 10.05 - Software Technical Reference
EVS Broadcast Equipment SA – July 2011
3D
Possible values: [OFF or ON]
This parameter activates the 3D option, using either the 3G-SDI standard (only
available with V3X boards) or Dual Link. This option makes it possible to use the
server to record and play back 3D video.
The parameter is only displayed to users who have subscribed to one of the 3D
options (license code 23 for 3D Dual Link, and license code 24 for 3D 3G).
When the 3D option is set to ON on EVS servers, a message informs the user that
the video and player configuration will automatically be adapted into a compatible
configuration.
For more information on the 3D feature, please refer to the section 1.4.6 ‘3 D &
1080p Management’, on page 24.
3G/DUAL
Possible values: [OFF, 3G, Dual]
This parameter defines the interface the EVS server will use with the 3D or 1080p
standards. The Dual Link interface consists of a pair of HD-SDI serial links and
provides a bitrate of 2.970 Gbit/s. The 3G-SDI interface consists of a single serial
link that provides 2.970 Gbit/s.
This parameter is not displayed when the selected HD codec is 1080i or 720p, and
the 3D parameter is on ‘OFF’. When the parameter is displayed, the possible
values are as follows:
• The ‘Off’ value is available in all cases.
• The ‘Dual’ value is only available for users who have subscribed to the license
code 21 or 23.
• The ‘3G’ value is only available for users who have subscribed to the license
code 22 or 24.
For more information on the 3G and Dual Link interfaces used with 3D or 1080p
standards, please refer to the section 1.4.6 ‘3 D & 1080p Management’, on page
24.
ANCILLARY MODE
Possible values: [20 bits or 24 bits]
This parameter defines the encoding method used for Digital Audio.
This parameter is solely applicable in SD, allowing you to have the output of the
embedded audio in 20 or 24 bits. In HD, it is always 24 bits.
SAMPLE RATE CONVERTER
Possible values: [OFF or ON]
This parameter is available with AES/EBU audio format.
If this parameter is set to OFF, the user has to ensure that the signals are
properly synchronized.
