2.1 XS REAR PANEL

2.1.1 OVERVIEW ON REAL PANEL CONFIGURATIONS

The XS server comes in a variety of rear panel configurations.

The variants linked to the workflows and codec modules are presented in this

section.

The variants related to the audio connectors are not presented. They are

described in the section 1.7.3 ‘Audio Specifications’, on page 12.

The XS server can come as:

• A 5U server with COHX boards.

• A 5U server with V3X boards.

• A 6U server with V3X boards.

The XS 5U chassis is available in 2 or 4 channel open configurations, as well as

closed ingest or playout configurations.

The XS 6U chassis is available in 4 or 6 channel configurations.
